The brand was born from a personal crisis when Sonya’s 30-year-old sister was diagnosed with melanoma. Frustrated by the lack of safe, non-toxic tanning alternatives for her sister’s healing skin, Sonya began researching ingredients. Sonya initially taught herself chemistry and began mixing formulas using natural ingredients like cacao and flower essences in her tiny kitchen on the Gold Coast. In 2011, the brand made Australian history by becoming the first tanning range to receive Certified Organic status from the Organic Food Chain.
Their range features several internationally recognized, organic products that are consistently rated as best-sellers for their efficacy and clean formulations.
