I’m a very big fan of facial oils, particularly olive oil, jojoba oil, rose hip oil, all rich in Vitamin E and EFA, which protect, soften and moisturise the skin reducing the evaporation of the “internal water “, and have an antioxidant and protective action against UV rays. Many herbs available in Nature encourage the production of collagen together with astringent and anti-ageing properties, however wrinkles don’t miraculously disappear if covered up (sadly), they need to be “treated” and not even moisturising is enough to keep them at bay. The skin needs to be well nourished and well fed in order to keep it young and healthy. This is why a beauty daily regime full of antioxidants is essential.
