Penrhos Spirits was founded in 2018, by two fruit farmers and friends, Charles Turner and Richard Williams. With cherry and apple orchards thriving, and blueberries and strawberries planted, Charles and Richard, as gin lovers, decided to create a truly farm-made, hand-created spirit and so after two years of research, testing and tasting, Penrhos Spirits was born. Charles & Richard’s wives became integral members of the team as the business grew to creating an award-winning collection of Gins.
Made using the natural essence of the Herefordshire Marches, Penrhos Spirits use fresh ingredients grown on a fruit farm by farming families who have come together in the pursuit of delicious spirits and making use of fruit which would otherwise be discarded. Combatting fruit waste is extremely important to Penrhos as a business and they had been looking for a way to use their abundance of raspberries from the beginning.
As non-alcoholic spirits category is one of the fastest growing areas and Penhros have such a passion for GIN, they wanted to make a non alcoholic alternative that was different and special…. the perfect addition to their range of small-batch, premium, farmed gins.
After over a year of experimenting, Penrhos Spirits Zero Raspberry became their newest addition, a huge step-change for them and an exciting new category! Crafted using fresh raspberries and blueberries, mixed with specially selected botanicals including coriander, black peppercorn and juniper berries. Distilled with care and passion, it doesn’t compromise on taste, it’s full of flavour and fruitiness with no artificial colours, flavours or refined sugars and a delicious better-for-you option.
Best enjoyed served over a tumbler glass full of ice, with tonic water & fresh raspberries & mint to garnish to create an elegant, sophisticated drink bursting with fruity raspberry and hints of floral tones leaving with the taste of beautiful botanicals.
