If you are in or near Glasgow on Saturday 13th October you are in for a treat!

Get along to the Mindful Drinking Festival hosted by Club Soda, it’s a mindful drinking movement, the founders say they have a vision, they are working towards…

They say…”We want to make non-drinking and mindful drinking widely accepted, so that everyone feels confident to change their drinking habits if and when they want to. Society can make this easier by making sure that non-drinkers are just as comfortable as drinkers in all social spaces where alcohol is served, in particular pubs and bars.

We believe this is a change that is good for society as a whole, so we want everyone to be part of our movement. Whether you have never drunk before, want to change your drinking, make an awesome low or no alcohol drink, or run a pub or bar. You can be part of the Mindful Drinking Movement”

Join Club Soda, the mindful drinking movement, for Scotland’s first alcohol-free drinks festival!

The Mindful Drinking Festival will give you a chance to taste the new wave of alcohol-free drinks now available, including alcohol-free beers, spirits, and a host of drinks invented by radical alchemists – kombuchas, shrubs and elixirs.

I’ve recently written a post about the trend of giving up the booze or choosing mindful drinking, with a few tips from experts (including Laura from Club Soda). It’s a phonemenon there’s no doubt and for the first time ever we had a category for Alcohol Free Drinks in the Janey Loves Platinum Awards.  Congratulations to Wise Bartender – read my sneak preview blog here – who have an awesome selection, and individually to The Temperance Society for the brilliant Tee Total (G and T without the G). Worth if for the beautiful bottle alone, Borrago, and for beer lovers ‘St Peters Without’ Organic beer
