Tell us about yourself and your company…
How did you get started?
We started making our own natural and organic skincare in 2013 with a desire to find a solution to my partner’s eczema. We wanted to offer our customers a product that was free from harsh chemicals and that was kind and gentle on the skin. After a couple of years this developed into creating a range of products using essential oils to promote well being for the mind, body and soul.
What were you doing in a previous life?
In a previous life I was a Teacher of English in a secondary school. The students and my subject were a great joy, but the individual learning needs that are somehow forgotten in the rush to achieve the highest grades went against all my beliefs. The point when Gove was in charge of the Education System pushed me to my limits. How could a minister of Education be so lacking in his knowledge of a child’s development and the importance of how we should nurture them to bring out their own unique strengths.
Why natural / organic / sustainable/ holistic?
I believe in the holistic approach to well being. It is a fine balance: without a healthy mind, we will inevitably find ourselves suffering with physical ailments.
What’s your USP? What sets you apart from your competitors?
We have a genuine passion for wanting to help others and make a difference to their health and quality of life.
We create our own unique essential oil blends.
We have a range suitable for sensitive skin, including eczema.

We listen to our customers and create products for their needs. Sleepy Head for sleeping difficulties, Joint Pain Massage oil for Fybromyalgia, Goats Milk Oats Soap for eczema.
What kind of feedback have you received from clients?
We have received many positive comments over the years for our products and won various awards including the Janey Loves Platinum Award for our Goats Milk Honey Oats Soap back in 2016. We were also featured in Liz Earle’s magazine were she reviewed the Sweet Orange and Palmarosa Soap and said ‘I love these gorgeous handmade bars containing only natural ingredients’.
What’s the next big launch / project coming up for you?
Currently, we are launching Sleepy Head Aromatherapy Room and Linen Mist, Lavender Body Oil, Organic Hair Conditioning Bar and Joint Pain Massage Oil. In the future we are hoping to launch our own Emotional Well-being Jewellery range.
What’s your big dream?
To offer a solution to people around the world who suffer with mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, stress and insomnia. To encourage natural remedies rather than pills from a bottle. To offer relief to people who live with skin conditions such as eczema. To raise awareness of Crohn’s Disease through the business.
